I would like to take this case. This would be my first case as a member of mediation committee. If you all agree to take this case by me, then please you all let me know whether you would prefer public or private mediation. Thanks, Shyam (T/C) 07:08, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome, Shyam. No preference -- do it the way you choose, as far as I'm concerned. Andrew Dalby 10:27, 18 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Hi Shyam, good luck with this as your first case. Would you explain what the differences would be between public or private mediation? I'm with Andrew, whatever you decide, I just would like to know what the two are so there is no question of propriety. Chris 04:28, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Public mediation would be on Wikipedia itself so anyone can see the discussion. Private discussion would be through a mailing list so only involved people can see and take participation in the discussion. I suppose there is no issue of having privacy. But please let me know, do all of you agree with having public mediation, so that we can start mediation as soon as possible. Shyam (T/C) 06:20, 19 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Agree to public mediation. --Hintha 00:02, 20 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I did not see any activity from other three members. If they are willing to take participation, they can also follow the talk page with whom they agree. If not, then please let me know as soon as possible. So for further discussion, follow the talk page. Thank you, Shyam (T/C) 19:37, 22 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
