editPrince Philip's hearse
editDoes anyone know what became of his hearse after the funeral? I tried searching online for its whereabouts but I could not find any information. 49.149.140.24 (talk) 07:51, 22 August 2021 (UTC)
- I'm coming up empty as well. Searching for Prince Philip's hearse in news articles posted since May (to avoid the crush of stories about the funeral itself) doesn't bring up anything useful, though I did learn that the driver of the hearse received an honour from the Queen. Related searches turned up nothing about the car itself. I'd speculate that it's back at Land Rover, who've been holding onto it since the Prince helped design the modifications to turn it into a hearse in 2003. - I couldn't find anything either, but my suspicion is that it will end up at the Sandringham Museum (which doesn't seem to be mentioned in our Sandringham House article) along with other retired royal cars. It may be a bit soon to put it on display for the Man on the Clapham omnibus to gawp at. Alansplodge (talk) 21:35, 24 August 2021 (UTC)
