editIn a same-sex marriage, who is the husband and who is the wife?

As we congratulate the royal newlyweds and wish them all happiness we still have the problem that Camilla and Charles are not married, for reasons explained here Special:Permalink/840529430#Repealing a repeal. Plans are being made for the first same-sex royal marriage. If the Camilla/Charles marriage were valid we might at some point see the Sovereign (who is Supreme Governor of the Church of England) give his or her wedding vows in a Roman Catholic church. We might also have a king and queen who are both of the same sex. If they are both female, would the partner of the one who was regnant have to be satisfied with the title "Prince Consort"? Note that before 1829 the only way Roman Catholics could lawfully marry was in Protestant churches. See "The King and the Catholics" by Antonia Fraser [1]. 92.8.223.143 (talk) 10:29, 13 October 2018 (UTC)

Conspiracy but no reptoids
editThis user is interested in conspiracy theories but thinks lizards, UFOs and antisemitic theories are disinformation |
So I just ran across this userbox, which is hosted in the userspace of someone who last edited in 2008. What in the world is it talking about? I assume it's referring to ordinary UFO concepts and the Protocols of the Elders of Zion (or something related), but lizards? Nyttend (talk) 12:01, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- See Reptilians. Nanonic (talk) 12:09, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- Reptiles are tetrapod animals in the class Reptilia, comprising today's turtles, crocodilians, snakes, amphisbaenians, lizards, tuatara, and their extinct relatives. The study of these traditional reptile orders, historically combined with that of modern amphibians, is called herpetology..." How are reptilians an issue? Nyttend (talk) 12:21, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- Not reptiles, Reptilians. Lizard people. Nanonic's link explains it. Adam Bishop (talk) 12:40, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- Well, to be pedantic, the link in the userbox already explained it; Nyttend just didn't follow it through (which is understandable, as "Reptilians" hardly seems that it's going to be a very different article than "Reptilian"). Matt Deres (talk) 16:04, 13 October 2018 (UTC)

A while back I ran into a conspiracy theory that claims that all of the other conspiracy theories were generated by (the government? the Illuminati? The reptilians? I don't remember) in order to get us to dismiss conspiracy theories, thus paving the way for the real conspiracy. I just searched and couldn't find it -- clearly because Google is in on it. :) -Guy Macon (talk) 16:36, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
- You may need to ask David Icke who apparently knows the truth :{ MilborneOne (talk) 17:06, 13 October 2018 (UTC)
Thanks everyone for the help. It's a completely new idea to me. Meanwhile, I've proposed moving Reptilians to Reptilian humanoid. Your input at the talk page would be appreciated. Nyttend (talk) 02:36, 14 October 2018 (UTC)
