editWhat is this sleeve -ish thingy called?
editSo I'm doing some cosplay research, and I found that awesome looking vest which appears to have that very short probably black leather sleeve-ish thingy. What is the name of that thing? And is there any other example of that thing? 139.194.203.136 (talk) 07:36, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- Our Sleeve article suggests that a very short sleeve that just covers the shoulder is called a "cap sleeve". Googling for cap sleeve vest finds mostly women's clothing like this and this, but the idea seems roughly the same. Deor (talk) 12:37, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
- The "vest" is in fact a jerkin or doublet - searching for "cap sleeve jerkin" gets a lot of irrelevant results for modern jackets, but searching "cap sleeve doublet" gives some more useful ones. Jerkins/doublets can come with or without sleeves, and are pretty easy to make (from fabric) with a sewing machine (or without, if you can sew well). (I'm not sure if there is actually a difference between a doublet and a jerkin - I think it's mostly a matter of time rather than garment. Possibly the articles could be merged?) After knowing what it is, how do I start to learn how to make it? 139.194.203.136 (talk) 13:57, 4 July 2016 (UTC)
Does anybody know where can I find fine detailed pictures of retro Mercedes-Benz?
editI need some good photos with retro cars and with their detailed description and specifications, but unfortunately I can't find them in high resolution. Can somebody help me with such strange mission?
Examples of the materials that I need:
1934 Mercedes-Benz 500 K Cabriolet A by Sindelfingen 1955 Mercedes-Benz 300 SL Gullwing
Thank you very much. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 95.24.81.205 (talk) 23:23, 2 July 2016 (UTC)
