November 27 edit

Copied question 1 edit

Original question by 213.170.77.134 (talk) 07:07, 27 November 2018 (UTC) copied from Reddit is as the title here [1]. Removed as a likely copyvio. Nil Einne (talk) 23:40, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Presuming you're talking about Tsar Bomba, it would look like any bomb blast in a vacuum would look. ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots→ 09:14, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I imagine the questioner is after answers as to how bright it would appear on earth compared to the parts of the moon illuminated by the sun and the size - would it be a pinpoint or a visible disk, and how long would it last ? I can't answer either of these definitively but since the fireball size is half a mile I would think it would be seen as a point. -- Q Chris (talk) 15:00, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Okurigana in Japanese place names. edit

Do Japanese place names with Kun reading of their kanji incorporate the okurigana (if there is any)? Is it something usual (I'm aware of the numerous eccentric readings in Japanese proper names)? Thanks! --37.116.111.75 (talk) 10:35, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Original question by 109.70.189.75 (talk) 11:21, 27 November 2018 (UTC) likely copied from somewhere is as the title here [2] [://www.reddit.com/r/askscience/comments/a0sqz5/is_there_air_resistance_in_space/] [3] & possibly elsewhere. While this is a very simple question hence why it's probably been asked in good faith by multiple people elsewhere, there is some WP:copyvio risk as it likely has been copied. Do you keep asking such questions in the wrong place in order to be annoying? AnonMoos (talk) 11:44, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
I suppose one could regard this as a language question, since space is characterised by the lack of air. Who is this questioner who copies random questions from other sites? I think we had a spate of this some time ago. Dbfirs 11:57, 27 November 2018 (UTC)[reply]
