cartoon - man acts as a dog, and dog acts as a man edit
Do you know a cartoon series where a man acts like a dog and a dog acts like a man?
It seems the dog is smart and the man is stupid.
I believe this cartoon is at least 10 or 20 years old.
It's probably one of the Cartoon Network's cartoons.

- Close but not quite is Dog Man by Dav Pilkey, a policeman created by an operation merging the body of a stupid human cop with the head a brilliant police dog. The combination makes for an excellent police officer (with some limitations, though, as he retains some dog-like characteristics). I was under the impression the story was recently turned into an animation film, but it seems it's still a work in progress. --Xuxl (talk) 22:44, 22 September 2017 (UTC)

The description reminds me of the animated short film Crazy Mixed Up Pup (1955) by Tex Avery. After a traffic accident, a man and his dog need a blood transfusion. A mix-up by medical personnel causes the man to gain dog's blood and the dog to gain human's blood. The man starts gaining doglike attributes and behaving like an animal, while the dog starts gaining humanlike attributes and behaves as if human.
The short is one of Avery's most famous one and it was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film. It lost in competition with When Magoo Flew by Pete Burness. Dimadick (talk) 11:01, 25 September 2017 (UTC)
