Is it on youtube anywhere? ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots06:53, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
One of the youtube video's comments says it's a rendition of Ricky Nelson's "Waitin' in School" (the article confirms it and even gives the performer's name: Gary Shorelle). Clarityfiend (talk) 07:20, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
I think so. The lyrics should be searchable. Something like, "One, two, pull up you shoes / Three, four, get out on the floor / Five, six, go and get your kicks / Down at the corner of Lincoln and 46th." ←Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots21:09, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
Here's Rick Nelson's "live" version:[1]Baseball Bugs What's up, Doc? carrots21:11, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

what is the difference between Discography and list of recorded songs?

edit

Thank you for your time I really appreciate what you do for us. You are clearly making a difference for future generations that will benefit from your hard work and dedication. My Question is: What is the difference between a singers discography page and a singers list of songs recorded page by. For example: what is the difference between Frank Sinatra's Discography page and Frank Sinatra's List of songs recorded page by Frank Sinatra. I do not understand why one page has so much more music he sang than the other page.

Thank you for your time to answer my question Have a nice day and Merry Christmas and Happy new Year.

A discography is a list of releases by an artist (records, CDs, etc.) rather than simply a list of songs recorded. --Michig (talk) 09:08, 25 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
In my opinion a discography lists all the recordings made by the artist, where a list is simply the highlights of their career. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Shalom2010 (talkcontribs) 08:08, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
No, Michig is correct. List of songs recorded by Frank Sinatra is an attempt to provide a complete list of songs he recorded, not just the highlights. Frank Sinatra discography is a list of commercial releases. --Viennese Waltz 09:39, 26 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]
