edit

Here is an article that was in the Tennessean. His Birth Mother was interviewed and says that John Rich was born in Union City TN.

Rich’s parents met in Martin, Tenn. and he was born in Union City, Tenn. When he was 2, the family moved to Texas, and he grew up in Amarillo. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 69.138.42.94 (talk) 08:12, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

OK, so it looks as if the birthplace given in our article on John Rich (musician) might need to be corrected. You can do that yourself, you know. Just click the Edit tab at the top of the article and away you go. --Viennese Waltz 08:39, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Guardian Angels

edit

Hello Guardian Angels! I have send you two e-mails now asking you the following: I am an artist in theater. I teach theater to children, ages 6 to 12 at the National Museum of Mexican Arts in Pilsen - 1852 West 19th Street-. As you may know the museum is a non for profit organization. I am preparing a Pastorela, a Christmas play, in the Mexican tradition of Las Posadas. We are going to have live music accompanying the play. I though that it will be wonderful to have the presence of the Guardian Angels as characters in the play. So I was asking your organization, if it was possible to buy t shirts for the musician 4 children and two adults, and, also if you can lend us six berets, that the musician will be wearing in the play. The berets will be only lended, and the t-shirts it will be, as you may consider convenient bought or also lended. I wrote the play, making it more contemporary, I wanted the kids and the audience to be more aware of the people who live in the city. For example we have a homeless man, a baglady, etc. When I was explaining the characters to the museum people, I was surpassed that many of them did not about your organization, and why it was created. So I imagine that it will also be an educational experience for many people, and you can bring information for the parents. Please let me know if my request is possible. The opening day will be December 17 and 18 at 3:00 p.m. Please feel free to contact me by phone: redacted, or by e-mail redacted Thank you for the interest and support you may give to this letter. Sincerely, name and address redacted — Preceding unsigned comment added by 99.149.198.190 (talk) 17:17, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]

You seem to have come here under the impression that this website is something to do with the Guardian Angels. It is not. This is the Wikipedia reference desk, a place for asking and answering questions about general knowledge. I suggest you contact the Guardian Angels organization directly with regards to your query. --Viennese Waltz 17:40, 23 November 2011 (UTC)[reply]
