Identify this movie

I remember seeing a movie some years ago where a family gets shipwrecked on an island by a group of people pursuing them, and while on the island they meet a young lady whose plane crashed onto the island, but in the end they manage to overtake the ship that originally pursued them. The Cat Story

Do you know the story about a cat named Saha? Who wrote it? I Read it in a book titled The Best Cat Stories (not English). All I can remember is a jealous woman and a cat. The woman didn't like the cat because she thought her husband likes it more than her.
