Jozxyqk edit

While following up on a Language Reference Desk thread, I learned that Jozxyqk redirects to Bodyswap, which says absolutely nothing about this strange sequence of characters. What does "jozxyqk" have to do with this episode? I've never heard of this series before, so please give a very basic answer :-) Nyttend (talk) 02:24, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

The page history of Jozxyqk has what claims to be the answer. Algebraist 02:28, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Does it? I looked but couldn't find it.--TammyMoet (talk) 08:20, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Lol! thank you --TammyMoet (talk) 12:26, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
If I recall it comes up in a Scabble game. Cat spells that word for a lot of points. Lister challenges that it's not a real word, and Cat claims that it's a cat word with the definition linked above. APL (talk) 14:39, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Grammy's Origins edit

Can anyone provide me with an exact date- or at least the month - on which the first Grammy Awards were presented? I have only gotten as far as finding references to artists like Sarah Vaughn being nominated/winning in 1958, and the first Grammy broadcasts in May & November of 1959, but nothing in the way of set date in 1958. Please help.

Thanking you in advance,

According to Grammy Award, "the first Grammy Award telecast took place on the night of November 29, 1959". Algebraist 03:16, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Grammy.com has the answer. On that page, scroll down to the year 1958 and click "search". It seems the first telecast wasn't the first awards ceremony. 152.16.16.75 (talk) 00:14, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know whether it's relevant in this case, but there's frequently a confusion between the year for which an award was given (the year in which the work in question appeared) and the year in which the award was given (the year of the award, typically the year after the work appeared). Critical Finish in Soul Calibur IV edit

According to the instruction manual and plenty of guides out there on the net, I've had plenty of opportunities to do a critical finish in SC4, but the character I'm using just facepalms and hangs his head. Am I missing something? Each time, I see the opponent's entire gauge flashing red, and one of the little green armor indicators is extinguished (in one case it was all 3), and I hit L1 on the PS3 controller (all 4 of the A/B/G/K buttons) and I still get the stupid weary animation. I managed to do it once, and I failed to see anything special about the particular battle. What am I missing?--156.34.86.56 (talk) 03:23, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Left Most Model edit

Who is the left most model?174.3.103.39 (talk) 12:58, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Have you tried looking through the pictures at http://backroom.hothouse.com/ most of the models have their names on the site - though there's a lot of 'men' to get through.83.100.250.79 (talk) 13:12, 18 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
NSFW! Please warn people when you link to a picture of that nature. I am editing from a work computer and that picture just showed up on my screen. 152.16.16.75 (talk) 00:16, 19 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
