His Dark Materials Soundtracks

edit

When the second and third movies of His Dark Materials are made, will they also have soundtracks with them? Bowei Huang (talk) 05:24, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

It is not yet clear that there will be sequels (see The Golden Compass (film)#Sequels), but if there are, I'm sure they will have soundtracks. It's been a long time since major motion pictures were silent. Algebraist 09:21, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Opera

edit

I have entered 4 or 5 "Subject" entries trying to locate information and a picture of the great Russian basso profundo, Dimitry Hvorestovsky. I did find one that had a limited amount of information and a thumb nail picture. I wasn't satisfied with it but can't relocate it to send to a friend I thought would be interested in him. He is on a par with Placido Domingo. I would think there would be many sites that would have information about him. Thank you for any help obtaining some information. shadowcast

edit

I hope this is the way to ask a question.

Re: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nuart_Theater The next-to-last line of the first paragraph uses the word "shadowcast": "...it hosts a weekly midnight movie showing of the Rocky Horror Picture Show featuring SHADOWCAST Sins O' The Flesh." (I have capitalized the word.) I cannot find out what "shadowcast" means. What does it mean? 162.84.148.23 (talk) 18:13, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

A shadow cast is a bunch of actors dressed up as the characters who mimic everything that happens in the movie. It probably wouldn't be much fun for Schindler's List, but it works with Rocky Horror. -- Captain Disdain (talk) 20:24, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Meet Joe Black

Somebody knows the name of the song that is played in the end credits of the film Meet Joe Black? David Pro (talk) 23:32, 14 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Try looking at the end of the song credits. ;) Avnas Ishtaroth drop me a line 05:10, 15 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
