Zelda Classic quest help

edit

The Zelda Classic quest "Mega Man Dr. Wily's Revenge (Director's Cut)" third boss seems impossible. Either: How do I beat him; OR: What's the password to open the quest in order to bypass him. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE, he's driving me crazy. 71.34.247.114 00:11, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

And no, it's not in GameFAQs. I checked. 71.34.247.114 00:12, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Political boundaries and cultural diffusion

edit

How and why are political boundaries barriers to cultural diffusion? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.229.161.126 (talk) 01:22, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Welcome to the Wikipedia Reference Desk. Your question appears to be a homework question. I apologize if this is a misevaluation, but it is our policy here to not do people's homework for them, but to merely aid them in doing it themselves. Letting someone else do your homework does not help you learn how to solve such problems. Please attempt to solve the problem yourself first. If you need help with a specific part of your homework, feel free to tell us where you are stuck and ask for help. If you need help grasping the concept of a problem, by all means let us know. Thank you. -- kainaw 03:18, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

What is the song "One" by Metallica about?

edit

I can't figure out the lyrics. Is it about a guy who is suicidal? That's the best I can figure out. Please don't yell at me for not knowing. MalwareSmarts 01:37, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

There is an article about it, One (Metallica song), while it doesn't say exactly what the song is about, it does talk about the music video (which is very creepy). [1] Basically a soldier loses his arms and legs and his ability to talk and wishes for death. I recommend checking out the video! -- MacAddct  1984 (talk • contribs) 03:15, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
Because of the video, it is assumed that they wrote it after reading Johnny Got His Gun. -- kainaw 03:16, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Garfeild Peppers

edit

In the Garfeild comic book "Garfeild gets cookin'" Jon and Garfeild eat spicy peppers. Garfeild eats a Peruvian Death Pepper is this a real pepper? If so is it the hottest? If it is not the hottest then what is? 76.176.215.76 16:09, 15 November 2007 (UTC

In answer to your second question, the Naga Jolokia pepper holds the Guinness world record for the hottest pepper - scoring 1,001,304 on the Scoville scale. 86.21.74.40 21:11, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
The 'Peruvian Death Pepper' has been ascribed to the Rocoto post Garfield inclusion. From DeWitt's "The Chile Pepper Encyclopedia":
The rocotos are renowned for their pungency, and there is a Peruvian expression about them, "llevanta muertos", meaning they are hot enough to raise the dead. According to chile expert Dr. Jean Andrews, in the town of Huanta, Peru, rocotos are described as "gringo huanuchi", "will kill a gringo" They are highly aromatic and flavorful in addition to their heat. The ripe pods are used fresh because their thick flesh makes them difficult to dry. They are often stuffed with cheese or sausage then baked."
Hope that helps. 86.21.74.40 21:27, 15 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]
