Wii-only browser games?

Do any browser games exist for the Nintendo Wii that cannot also be played on a PC using a keyboard and mouse? Neon Merlin 00:52, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I don't know of any. I guess they would make use of the motion sensing components. I can think of a few flash games which would make use of this quite well. When you say "trace" the film, do you mean that you would like to obtain a copy on video or DVD? The film is listed on the reliable IMDB website here, but a quick search on Amazon draws a blank, suggesting that it is not currently available. --Richardrj ^talk ^email 07:29, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Poker terminology... history of flop, turn, river

Does anyone know where the words flop, turn and river come from? When did they appear in the game and why? Do they have any meaning? For example, is it turn as in "your turn" or turn as in "turn around" or something completely different altogether? Surely it had some sort of meaning or story when they chose the term? Looking at river (Poker) it seems the river is to do with 'drowning' due to a person potentially losing the game on the final community card. Flop (Poker) doesn't say a reasoning but the 'three cards quickly turned over to prevent seeing a reaction to one card' makes me think it would be the 'flopping' of 3 cards over (like flipping). As for the turn-card I suspect this is mostly because that card can literally 'turn' the game. It is at a critical point in the game so I would expect it means turn in the sense of 'alter the outcome'. Much my own interpretation but there you go. ny156uk 19:04, 5 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

BBC Comedy Title Music

what is the title music from the bbc comedy not going out?

French songs in US television commercials

Hopefully it's only a coincidence and not a trend, but I've noticed that there are two current TV commercials which use French songs in their ads, and I was wondering if somebody could help me figure out what the songs are. The first one is for Absolut Vodka, and shows a political demonstration, presumably somewhere in Europe. When the police show up in riot gear to stop the demonstration, a massive pillow fight breaks out. The second ad is for Pepsi, set in San Francisco, where a guy gets hit by a giant ball with the Pepsi logo on it an carrens all over the San Francisco streets like he's in a pinball game. Poldark

Masterpiece theater or PBS once ran a serial called Poldark. I cannot find this series anywhere, and I would like to obtain it. Any body know where I can get it? wsc

What is the name of this cartoon?

I can't remember if it was an American or British cartoon, I watched it whilst younger in the 90's on British television. It was about kids as far as I can remember, not particularly young children. One of the characters was called Play, that's all I can remember. Any ideas about what it was? Thankyou
