I've listed this article for peer review because I would like to improve the article to the level of a featured article. I nominated it last year for FA but it failed and I was suggested to go through peer reviews first before renominating it. Thus, it would be great to get some reviews about the improvements this article needs. I am planning to get this article to FA level before June 24, 2015.

• The youth part says nothing about his schooling.
• "Less than a year after his start" not clear.
• " would be broken by Bojan Krkić in September 2007" unsourced
• "scoring six goals in 17 matches." unsourced
• "for the second time in three month" - the previous two times?
• "and was finally able to make his debut in the season's Spanish First Division" makes no sense
• "six goals in 17 league appearances" - both numbers or both words
• "established himself as a regular first team player" - you have fallen into a trap, by checking a stat and making this comment.
• "El Clásico saw Messi in top form" - I am not sure if such a comment is accepted or not.
• The last sentence of the paragraph also appears fishy.

First of all, I have to thank you for this excellent work that tries to describe the life of Lionel Messi, the player is Barcelone. In fact, the work describes well the seasons played by Lionel Messi in Barcelone with a very exceptional coverage and with significant photos. There is even some parts dealing with seperate games. This is extremely great. However, there are limited information about Messi in this season and this is quite negative because Messi had made many achievements this season that can better the work.

However, for the career with Argentine Team, there is a lack of information particularly for his career with U20 and U23 teams... It is required that the part about the career of Messi with Argentine Team will be developed like the one of the career of Messi in FC Barcelone. You should include all details about the played games of Messi with Argentina Team and you should write a part about the 2005 South American Youth Championship and the 2005 FIFA World Youth Championship. You should even develop the details about the 2006 FIFA World Cup and write about the important circumstances that led Messi to be included in Argentina Team. For the first years of Messi, minimal information had been included about his career in Newell's Old Boys and FC Barcelone from 2000 to 2004. You should expand this part and include more information about the career of Messi at that particular time. Furthermore, there are minimal information about the situation of the Family of Messi when he was born. You are probably required to involve some information about whether Messi Family was poor or not, the home of Messi Family, the stadium in which Messi played in his first years, his supporters, what he had done in his first years, his objectives...

Moreover, the Outside Football Part gives minor information about his friends and his opinions about important debates. I think that adding some quotes of Messi about important debates will give the work more quality.

Finally, I have to invite you to complete the part about the detailed information of the goals of Messi with the main National Team and add some other prizes that was given to Messi to the list of prizes given to Messi by including governmental and institutional prizes. --Csisc (talk) 12:15, 8 April 2015 (UTC)
