Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (film) edit

I've listed this article for peer review because I kinda aim to at least move this article to GA status but the size is quite bigger than things I tend to edit. The same happened to me when editing Psycho-Pass: The Movie but I kinda lost the interest due to similar reasons.

Infobox

  • Add a source for the runtime

Lead

  • Worldwide box office revenue should be mentioned
  • "The film is produced by MAPPA." Seems pretty short to be its own sentence. Probably merge it with the previous or the next sentence, something like "Produced by MAPPA, 'it was directed' or 'it follows Yuta Okkotsu'"
  • The anime film GAs I've seen only mention the original premiere date in Japan, and not their international release. I think it should be omitted here.
  • Mention the specific release date as well (December 24, 2021)

Plot

  • First sentence should be reworded to avoid the use of "The movie begins with"

Voice cast

  • Half of the English VAs seem to be unsourced

Marketing

  • Marketing section can be expanded to include info about trailers, movie posters, etc. (when were they released, what do they contain)

Home media

  • "featuring two versions" -> describe what these two versions are

Critical response

  • "The film was one of the most awaited anime adaptations behind the second season of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba" -> add that this is for 2021, and not all-time. Harushiga (talk) 15:38, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Harushiga: Thanks for the comments. I tried revising everything but not even Behind the Voice Actors has the appropiate mark to revise the English actors. I couldn't even find the film's official English site for some reason. I guess I'll try to search more through twitter. Seems that all unsourced actors are just cameo characters not credited by even Crunchyroll's official website. They are credited in the movie's credits but I don't know if that's acceptable. Something similar happened when I edited Tekken: Bloodline. Tintor2 (talk) 17:42, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Tintor2: I used Kaiji Tang's Tweet as reference for the remaining VAs. I think the plot section might need some copyediting, but otherwise this looks better now. Harushiga (talk) 18:11, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Harushiga: Thanks. I don't know if it should be trimmed but I left a request to copyedit the plot in the guild.Tintor2 (talk) 20:27, 11 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Misc Comments edit

Got a couple of pointers to give @Tintor2:

  • In the lead, what is "Due to the format of a team, MAPPA aimed to make more appealing fight sequences." supposed to mean?
  • What is the deal with reference 28: "Jujutsu Kaisen 0. MAPPA. 2021."?

TA comments edit

  • "Seko still said that the action scenes of Akutami's manga is the most". I think "are the most" is correct.
  • "He also praised Seko's script for the movie which is meant to show Okkotsu's transformation into a hero". It sounds superfluous to me.
  • "Following the film's release, Park's favorite fight sequence is when Yuta calls Rika to Geto especially when seen in 4DX format". Ditto.
  • " In retrospective, all the action scenes in the second half were exciting for the director, as were the scenes featuring Gojo, Okkotsu, Geto, and Rika". Idem.

That's all for now.TeenAngels1234 (talk) 16:17, 18 February 2023 (UTC)[reply]
