This is Will Eisner's first graphic novel, and the book credited with popularizing the term "graphic novel". The article has recently become a Good Article, and I hope to nominate it as a Featured Article Candidate in the near future. Please split any hairs you see fit with this article.

Not going to do a full review: but here is the order I generally see well organized (and intuitive) novels articles: Lead, Background, Plot, Style/Analysis, Reception, Publication history, adaptation. This leads to a more logical connection between the various main content parts (Lead through Style/Analysis) and the contextual real world information (Reception thru adaptation), which alot of people aren't looking for, can be pushed towards the end. I've shifted the sections around, but not quite in the way you've proposed—seen a lot of different arguments for the order of sections—some insisting that "Publication history" must come first, and the Novels MoS advises Lead => Plot => Characters => Major themes => Style => Background => Publication history => Reception => Adaptations.
