2nd Infantry Division (United Kingdom) edit

This article has grown massively over the last couple of months, to better cover the division's activities over its 200-year history. The list of commanders, orders of battles, and Victoria Cross winners have been spun off into their own articles in order to save on space. The article is at ~95k, with around 8,000 words. It has just have a GoCE do-over too, with the editor mentioning that they could not find fluff that could be cut. Ideally, I would like to progress this article through GA, A-Class, and to a FAN. With all that in mind, I think the article could do with a few extra pair of eyes to see if there is stuff that could be spun off into their own articles, were trims or tweaks could be made, or to comment that the size is not too large. Thanks in advance for any feedback.EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 05:35, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

  • The article is 49 kB readable prose which is a reasonable length for a FA or A-class article. I don't think additional split is necessary. (t · c) buidhe 11:26, 27 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for taking a look, and providing feedback on the length. I appreciate it. Ill leave this open for a few more days to see if anyone else has a dissenting view.EnigmaMcmxc (talk) 12:52, 1 February 2021 (UTC)[reply]
