The 2018 Queens College Wiki-Women's Edit-a-thon will be held Wednesday, March 28, in the library's Tanenbaum room (300i), from 12:00-5:00 pm. Please feel free to come for all or part of this event!

This Women’s History Month, please join us for the Wiki-Women’s Edit-a-thon! We will be editing and creating articles on women, especially women of color, and particularly women in dance, literature, film, music, and the visual arts.

Beginners are welcome! We will provide:

  • An introduction to editing Wikipedia
  • Suggested information resources to cite
  • Moral support
  • Food!

You need not have any prior knowledge of these subjects or any experience editing Wikipedia.

You are encouraged to bring your own laptop, but loaners will be available.

If possible, please create an account in Wikipedia prior to attending the event.
