Request: I think this has great potential to be used in some civil rights articles. Our current version is a low quality jpg but luckily we have a HQ TIFF to work with. I attempted but created a 6 mbit file with a decent crop but I'm sure someone with a little more finesse could get a more reasonable size with about the same quality. Thanks. gren グレン 06:42, 3 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request: Can anything be done for this crappy camera phone photo? Fvasconcellos (t·c) 22:29, 24 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I'm not a graphist, but what are you looking to have done? Right offhand, I can see some wires that probably need to be removed. Anything else? SchuminWeb (Talk) 02:17, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Maybe some perspective correction? I don't know, something just looks off. Maybe I'll just take another one with a better camera :) Fvasconcellos (t·c) 16:29, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Yeah, I was about to say, aside from the wires, it looks all right. If you will be by there again to reshoot, may I suggest going up to the fence and shooting through it? That will take care of the power lines and the trees.
So can we mark this as "resolved" and say we're going for a new photo entirely? SchuminWeb (Talk) 23:49, 25 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request: Can we pull a headshot out from this and make any image improvements? -- Banjeboi 01:46, 26 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Graphist opinion(s): I've had a go at taking out the headshot, improving the color, and removing noise, any good? - Kingpin13 (talk) 10:19, 27 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

That's great! Thank you! -- Banjeboi 22:20, 28 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request: Hi, the main image of Michael Somare on his article is very dark, and it's very difficult to see him properly, especially in small resolutions. Could somebody please brighten the image? Thanks, 84.92.117.93 (talk) 15:18, 31 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request: Requesting that the bystander in the extreme left side of the photo (sleeve and arm visible) be removed. SchuminWeb (Talk) 16:57, 1 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Graphist opinion:   Done. Fairly simple, the main problem was keeping the edge of the display box straight, and there wasn't much of the colour to the left of that. Anyways, hope that is satisfactory, let me know otherwise. - Kingpin13 (talk) 09:29, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Awesome! Thanks much. SchuminWeb (Talk) 15:30, 4 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Emphasize towers

Article(s): List of National Treasures of Japan (castles)

Request: The picture shows three towers: the main 5-storied tower to the left, a small two-storied tower in the middle (=Southeast Connecting Tower) and a one-storied structure (=Moon-viewing Tower) to the right. For the table in List of National Treasures of Japan (castles) I'd like to have the Moon-viewing Tower and Southeast Connecting Tower somehow emphasized. Sinze arrows and labels will be hardly readable in the thumbnail view in the table, I would prefer two (for each tower) versions where the rest of the castle is blurred or darkened or such. However I am open to any other suggestion on how to focus the attention of the viewer to one of the towers.bamse (talk) 00:07, 2 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Graphist opinion(s):   Done See File:Matsumoto-Castle-focused-.jpg. Make sure I highlighted the right stuff. -- penubag  (talk) 09:29, 7 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Request: Request is to remove wires and shadows of wires from image. SchuminWeb (Talk) 08:22, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Graphist opinion:   Request taken by Kingpin13. Should be able to do this quite easily :). The only wires leaving a shadow are the horizontal whiteish ones correct? - Kingpin13 (talk) 08:51, 11 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]
