The documents specifying the symbols of the Vietnamese Fisheries Surveillance can be found here (page 16 of the file). I expect to render the number 1. image which is the Insignia, number 2. which is the pennon/Ensign (flag) and number 3. which is the Flag of the Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance (3:2 ratio; never mind the yellow sleeve).

Extended conversation regarding details of request
Hi there, thank you for participating. According to the quoted document above, the ensign (pennon, no. 2 in the doc) is an isoceles triangle with the Width is equal to 2/3 of the Height of the triangle, and the Emblem's diameter is also 2/3 to the Bottom (vertical side of the flag pole) of the triangular ensign.
With the rectangular flag (no. 3), the Emblem diameter is half (1/2) of the width of the rectangle and each line of white words is 1/10 of the width of the rectangular flag. The emblem is featured with the white border on both the flag and pennon/ensign. If it is possible, please notice the nominated ratio. Hi, very nice illustration. However, I wonder if the emblem can be more "circular". There are images of the emblem (and the flags) in real life for better reference: [1] [2] [3] [4] And also the emblem used on the flag having some weirdly-rendered details and not accurately symmetrical, I hope that it can be fixed. Thank you so much !!!
P/s: the illustration in the file can seem inaccurate and distorted due too low resolution and poor file compression. To be honest, I recommend using the nominated ratios/dimensions instead of looking at the images.  Hwi.padam   15:35, 10 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

The texts are KIỂM NGƯ VIỆT NAM and BẢO VỆ NGUỒN LỢI THỦY SẢN if you need to copy. I recommend entirely using Arial and Times New Roman to avoid any character-rendering issues. Thank you!!!  Hwi.padam   02:43, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Both those fonts are under a license incompatible with Wikipedia so I’ve been using Manrope for sans serif and this for serifs. Hi, I think we should use Roboto (Bold [5]) for Sans Serif and Merriweather [6] for Serif. I think that they are the most equivalent to Arial and Times New Roman per the original intention.  Hwi.padam   04:47, 11 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, already very nice. However, can you make the line on the emblem a little bit bigger corresponding to the blue round, and the line KIỂM NGƯ VIỆT NAM on the Rectangular Flag might be a little bigger (the height should be a half to 2/3 the distance from the flag bottom to the emblem bottom). There's one more thing, can we use the same emblem (File:Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Emblem.svg) on both of the flag? I mean, they are theoretically the very same thing, and what I want to say is that can we use File:Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Emblem.svg on File:Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Flag.svg and keeping this file variant's text design? Hi, I think that the text of File:Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Flag.svg is more accurate, since the line "KIỂM NGƯ VIỆT NAM" under the emblem uses Serif font per the actual design. The size of the texts on the File:Vietnam Fisheries Surveillance Flag.svg also looks better and closer to the nominated design in my opinion.  Hwi.padam   03:38, 14 August 2023 (UTC)[reply]

RCraig09 and Mliu92, if you look at List of Green Bay Packers retired numbers, each image sits in a cell with a background color of #17342c. Now look at Talk:List of Green Bay Packers retired numbers where I did the same thing (as a draft) for the #12. See how the greens don't match up perfectly? Sorry, User:Gonzo_fan2007, I'm at a complete loss for how a Wikipedia Talk Page's specification of a background can somehow override what's in a Wikimedia Commons image! The good news is that, if a particular Wikipedia article or Talk Page has the wrong specification for a background, virtually any editor can change it by routine editing in Wikipedia. Alternatively, you might try deleting "background: #103128;" in the hopes that might cause the background to revert to the default of what's in the Wikimedia file itself. Piri Reis map to Martin Behaim globe comparison (make an SVG file smaller)

I would appreciate any help cleaning up an image. I've made a comparison image of how the Piri Reis map depicts the Caribbean and how the Behaim globe depicts Asia. It's rough in several ways. It should probably be an SVG file. The Behaim globe is pixelated. The two closeups use different fonts. Any help fixing this up would be greatly appreciated. Additionally, if it helps I have access to a public domain outline of the Piri Reis map that I could upload. Update: I have cleaned up the comparison some, converted it to SVG, and exported a new PNG. I can't replace it yet with the SVG though. The method that I used to "clip" out a section of each map, preserved the entire maps. This pushes the size of the SVG up to several megabytes. I am thinking there is some easy solution to remove all the extra invisible stuff from the image, but I am also not sure where to start. Rjjiii (talk) 19:29, 29 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Have been informed at Wikipedia:Featured article candidates/Battle of Grand Gulf/archive1 that this image is non-compliant with MOS:COLOR; is there any hope of correcting this issue? my main concern is that the scale seems wrong. dimensions of the Pioneers were 9 ft. wide x 9 ft. 6 in. long x 9 ft. diameter, 9 ft. span, 568 lb. (274.32 x 289.56 x 274.32cm, 257.6kg, 274.32cm) according to National Air and Space Museum, but for this to be true, the humans on the image should probably be hobbits.
