Original – Portrait by Nepali artist Araniko, sling drawn shortly after Kublai's death in 1294. His white robes reflect his desired symbolic role as a religious Mongol shaman.

Comment – The original image is 3479×2213 pixels, so how is the crop 2678×3200 pixels? I think the original is a better candidate because it shows the left side as well. Perhaps the original should be placed in the article using Template:CSS image crop and nominated. Also there is a bright horizontal scratch above his mustache which can be removed.
