I am nominating this for featured list because I feel it meets the criteria. The lead (and rest of the article) was modeled off of List of Philadelphia Phillies managers, a FL. I am leaving on Wednesday, and Juliancolton has agreed to deal with any issues that come up after I leave. Mm40 (talk) 02:10, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
Comment - Uhh... Shouldn't User:Blackwatch21 also get the nomination credit? From the article history, it looks obvious that he is the initial contributor. -- [[SRE.K.A.L.|L.A.K.ERS]] 02:37, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- I wrote the lead and added the general managers section, but I suppose you're right, I'll notify him and add him as a nominator. Mm40 (talk) 10:36, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Support-Looks great, and has suitable references. Kevin Rutherford (talk) 17:20, 29 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- "In contrast, the general manager controls player transactions" I'm not really seeing the contrast.
- "with 1,003 games of service over eight seasons "-->with 1,003 games of service over 8 seasons
- To my understanding, all numbers under 10 should be spelled out (similar to "seven" and "five" in the article, etc.), so I would disagree on that point. Jamie☆S93 23:23, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- From MOSNUM: "[c]omparable quantities should be all spelled out or all figures: we may write either 5 cats and 32 dogs or five cats and thirty-two dogs, not five cats and 32 dogs." Dabomb87 (talk) 23:26, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Alt text should be added to the images. Dabomb87 (talk) 01:31, 10 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]

- It doesn't look like that source is particularly reliable, but given the uncontroversial nature of the information, I think it should be fine. –Juliancolton | Talk 21:40, 7 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- We should use reliable sources whenever possible.
- Replaced with a New York Times ref; there are several NYT sources available. Jamie☆S93 20:27, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
What makes http://www.baseballamerica.com/today/features/051221gmround.html reliable?Dabomb87 (talk) 17:27, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- It's part of the fairly major baseball magazine Baseball America. I'd say that's reliable. Jamie☆S93 20:27, 9 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
- Comments –
- "his .588 winning percentage gives him a 595–417 record". Would have thought it would be the other way around.
- In the table, the colors only need to be used in the manager column; using them in all columns is a bit much.
- Speaking of colors, George Weiss is a Hall of Famer and should be indicated as such. Giants2008 (17-14) 22:22, 8 July 2009 (UTC)[reply]
