Discussion
editThis strikes me as a task that's easy to get wrong. How will the bot differentiate between erroneous editing and vandalism that's left an article with bad formatting? Josh Parris 21:19, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- These fixes would be reviewed by me, before (or after, but mostly before) editing. I would like to get the bot flag, so I could do it "fast". -(t) Josve05a (c) 21:44, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- Okay, thanks for changing the task to "supervised", that clarifies things. How will you tell the difference between vandalism and errors? Josh Parris 22:15, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I will do three steps, look at the article for any discrepancies, then I will see how the article looks after edit and thirdly, look at the history( the 3rd is after the edit is made). If an article looks wierd och unclear, I just skip that page. -(t) Josve05a (c) 22:42, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
- I don't think that in doing these three steps you're going to edit fast enough to cause anyone troubles. Equally, the Check Wikipedia list of === only headings shows no entries right now, so unless things get bad quickly there won't be a bunch of these go to through.
- Given that you're going to supervise the edits and the low number of them, I don't see the need for a bot flag here. Josh Parris 23:48, 6 November 2013 (UTC)[reply]
