  • The Wait until edits is not yet programmed in, instead a message is outputed
  • All entries that do not directly match the Blacklist are subject to the similar charecters search
  • All entries are read as regex, but in a safe way (as in could be anything around it)
  • {{note}} will be fixed on next upload to SVN.

Well as SoxBot had it:
  1. Wikipedia:Usernames for administrator attention/Bot
  2. The regex is only a way to try and check, quite a few entries were already regex flaged, but the operation should still be the same as if regex wasn't run (please also understand I am bridging between PHP and Python here). It's like walking your dog around the block one way or the other way.
  3. Why wait until they edit, because that is how admins have asked for it. And also it just makes sense to see if a username is editing promotionally before you report/block them. (See the username policy for more info).
  4. Uhh...in this task? No. As a bot, yes, I have other already approved tasks. Please see User:DeltaQuadBot for more information on what is already happening with the bot.

I released the bot this morning to edit unsupervised on TS. Few minor template errors, but other than that it's running as it should/was asked to. DQ.alt (t) (e) 16:06, 1 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
This is lovely. I started a non-IRC version because it kept crashing...edited on linux and now it's gone. Will be rebuilding that for now and compensating for the wait till edit. -- DQ (t) (e) 02:10, 6 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
Still in the debugging state at this point. It was blocked for errors today. I will be looking into the exact cause for this. There was extended downtime last week due to toolserver issues. DQ.alt (t) (e) 16:09, 18 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]
