Wikipedia:Ambassadors/Editing Sundays

How it works

edit

Editing Sundays are casual events where Wikipedia Campus Ambassadors in Pune, India and others collaborate to improve important but neglected Wikipedia articles. Here's your opportunity to try your hand at editing in a safe, friendly environment!

The next editing Sunday is on 7th August 2011 from 9AM IST onwards

The core time for Editing Sunday is from 9AM-12PM IST and may continue for the rest of the Sunday, as the case may be. Many people contribute before or after that window, if that particular time period isn't convenient. Work on the article may continue for the rest of the week or even beyond that if the Campus Ambassadors are interested.

We'll be chatting while we work, too, so it's a great chance to meet experienced editors and get help. Join the chat at #wikipedia-en-ambassadors connect.

The concept of Editing Sundays has been adapted from the highly successful Editing Fridays model which was conceived and implemented by Phoebe Ayers, Sage Ross and Alex Stinson.
