2017 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election

The 2017 Uttarakhand Legislative Assembly election[1] was the 4th Vidhan Sabha (Legislative Assembly) election of the state of Uttarakhand in India. Voting in the Karnaprayag constituency was postponed until 9 March 2017 due to the death of BSP candidate Kuldeep Kanwasi in a road accident. In the previous election in 2012, none of the parties won a majority but the Indian National Congress formed the government with the help of PDF with the leadership of Vijay Bahuguna.
