Egham/Strodes

edit

The information on Strodes College you removed from the Egham page today is from the college's own web page, and thus fairly sourced. Equally, this page is about Egham not Strodes, so your edit is fine in my view. Keep up the good edits! Obina 22:40, 24 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

Windsor & Eton Central Station

edit

Hello Zverzia - I'm a newcomer to Wikipedia so have just read your message and equally hope this is an appropriate way to respond. Regarding the image - the views are similar however I believe the image I substituted has better definition, deeper colours and a depth of field enabling the castle to be seen better against a better sky and more easily placing the station in context. However these points could be considered a matter of personal taste so I'm not precious about the placement of this particular image. I've also now looked at your image of Slough Station - this is a site I also intended to post an image. WyrdLight 18:30, 13 November 2006 (UTC)Reply

An image or media file that you uploaded or altered, Image:London Bridge Jubilee Platforms.JPG, has been listed at Wikipedia:Images and media for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. Please note that a bot moved your image to the Wikimedia Commons. The file on en.wikipedia is now an exact duplicate and can be removed (the image will still be available for en.wikipedia, but now also to all other Wikimedia projects that use Commons. --Stephantom (talk) 22:18, 31 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Survey

edit

Hi Zverzia!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you! ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. Proposed deletion of Bishopsgate School

edit

The article Bishopsgate School has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

Non notable independent (fee paying) primary school. No in depth reliable sources, no claims of importance or significance. Wikipedia is not a listing site for schools or businesses WP:NOTDIR. Article fails WP:GNG and WP:ORG.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, pages may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the page to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion.
