Speedy deletion of Joel potrykus

A tag has been placed on Joel potrykus requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. Thank you for your note on the talk page of the above article. However, the subject of the article fails to meet the criteria listed above which determine encyclopedic notability - in other words, whether a topic is appropriate for Wikipedia.
