It might not have been your intention, but your recent edit removed content from Poe (The Legend of Zelda). Please be careful not to remove content from Wikipedia without a valid reason, which you should specify in the edit summary or on the article's talk page. Take a look at our welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. A link to the edit I have reverted can be found here: link. If you believe this edit should not have been reverted, please contact me. Farside6 18:30, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Woops. Didn't see what I did there. My mistake. I posted a note on your talk page also. Do I get a warning? --Zooba 19:15, 4 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

List of Wii games

edit

Hey there Zooba,

I've noted that you've contributed before to the List of Wii games. Just wanted to let you know that the list is getting ready for Featured status and is currently undergoing a Peer Review. If you can take a moment to look over the article and add your suggestions/comments for improvement here, it'd be much appreciated. Thanks! -Digiwrld1 21:44, 2 April 2007 (UTC)Reply

Edit on Mii

edit

I don't understand why the SmackBot made this edit to the Mii page. It mostly considered changing wikilinks in such a fasion that, for example "[[Eye|eyes]]" before the edit became "[[eye]]s" after the edit. Surely it is best to use the prior version, as it features the correct wikilink (although I noticed the "(Redirected from 'name X')" text doesn't appear under the page title anymore), and, perhaps, looks a little neater (with the whole word contained within the wikilink)? Either way, what is the reasoning behind these edits? --Zooba 14:40, 17 June 2007 (UTC)Reply

The purpose for making the edit was to date the refimprove tag. Like many bots SmackBot is based on WP:AWB which has a host of general clean-up functions. In particular the changes you mention are designed to make the wiki-text clearer, per WP:MoS. Either "Eye" or "eye" are correct wikilinks ("Eye" for the start of sentences), and you should not see a redirected from message following either link. Your edit to Wii Remote

edit

In regards to your most recent edit to the article, please observe WP:MOS. Sentence fragments do not need periods in image captions. Please keep captions brief and avoid excess wording. Also keep in mind that the prototype was known as just "Zapper". Just64helpin 10:01, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

Sorry, I was unaware of that. --Zooba 12:43, 12 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
On a related note, no spaces should be placed between punctuation and a <ref> tag. Just64helpin 12:36, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Reply
Regarding your new edits, third-party accessories licensed by Nintendo are technically official. Ref tags should also be placed immediately next to punctuation, as I already stated. Just64helpin 18:50, 21 July 2007 (UTC)Reply

AfD nomination of Wii Series

edit

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Wii Series. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Wii Series. Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:10, 3 November 2009 (UTC)Reply

However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 04:58, 26 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

ArbCom elections are now open!

edit

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
