To ZooPro

Hi, thanks for helping me in taking over WikiProject Zoo. I just want you to know that I appreciate it, and that if you ever decide to come back, that you are welcome to assume leadership of the WikiProject again. Cheers, The Arbiter 01:12, 3 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Taxanomy of the domestic cat

Greetings ZooPro. I am Shadow Android. For a long time, I thought the domestic cat is Felis Sylvestris, yet on the page Cat, it is listed as Felis catus. Since I read your profile, you seem to know a lot about animals. Could you clearify this Taxanomy mistery for me? Thank you.

How to Take Over

Hello, ZooPro. Thank you for helping me get onto WikiProject Mammals. Is there any way I can help take over any other WikiProjects?? Forgive me if you think this question is rediculous, I am just trying to help. Warm regards, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 22:05, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

How can I take over?? Are there any open spots for any WikiProjects?? I'm pretty experienced!! Thank you for your time, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 22:06, 22 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Can I assume leadership on any WikiProject?? Forgive me if this is too rediculous. I just want to know, because like I said, I'm pretty experienced!! Thank you for your time, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 00:40, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Are there any current openings for coordinaters that you know of for WikiProjects?? Thank you for your time, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 00:54, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

ZooFari, thank you for your help. I understand, there's nothing really special about the coordinators. And, I shouldn't expect to go out and find an opening and just say Ooh, an opening!! and take the job. And by the way, why do only some projects have coordinators?? If you could answer ASAP, I would be much grateful. Thank you for your time, good sir and warm regards, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 01:07, 23 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

ZooPro, I actually was voted to be a coordinator. It was a one day vote that you probably didn't catch. Sorry for any confusion, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 21:37, 26 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Welcome Back!

Hey there, welcome back. Yeah, I'll work on the userbox and other things, but currently, I am taking a wikibreak till the new year, so I will be back then. See you soon! The Arbiter 19:31, 24 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

"Brilliant assessor"

I'm not that (as you claimed at User talk:Belugaboy535136#WikiProject Mammals). I recently forgot about the "start" class for a bit, and assessed a bunch of articles as stub or c. Here's a question: should the Template:Mammal doc page make a note about preferring the Template:Rodent etc. rather than the parameters in that template? I'll mostly be assessing rodent pages, and also browsing for important pages needing assessment (musk-ox was one.) —innotata (TalkContribs) 20:42, 26 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I have responded on your talk page in more detail but my answer is Yes. ZooPro 04:11, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

WikiProject Cetaceans

Hello, ZooPro! This is Belugaboy535136, again. As you know, I am a member of WikiProject Cetaceans. I noticed at the bottom of my userpage, there was no CATEGORY:WikiPROJECT CETACEANS MEMBERS as there were for mammals and zoo. And I searched "Category:WikiProject Cetaceans Members" or whatever it said, and hit search, and there was no results found. If you could get this page made ASAP, I would be much grateful of you. Warm regards, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 13:44, 27 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

My Christmas gift to you!

Done and thanks for the Kitten. ZooPro 03:50, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Thanks and you're welcome! Have a nice day, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 16:23, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Caspian tiger

If that is the case, then the articles on Gibraltar monkeys and black panthers should get their own taxboxes. They dont, because the former is simply a population of an animal that already has a taxbox describing it, and the latter is simply a colour variant. Colour and population variations (unless recognised as distinct taxons) do not merit taxboxes.Mariomassone (talk) 02:05, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Fine, I shall rephrase it as "melanistic leopard". Taxboxes should be reserved for distinct taxons. Subspecies should be the minimum requirement. Colour variations or populations seperated by purely "political" boundraries do not fit that.Mariomassone (talk) 02:18, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

None in particular. I'm satisfied with the current policy, though if your appeal to the administrators works, I won't have a problem with it.Mariomassone (talk) 10:49, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

Tropic World

Hi, ZooPro. It's Belugaboy535136. I was wondering if you could take a look at my new article, Tropic World and give me your opinion. Thank you for your time, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 16:22, 28 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I Can't Take It!!

I can't take the pressure anymore! I admit it! I did place myself as coordinator. I noticed it and thought the Cetaceans Project needed one. I didn't know that some don't have to have a coordinator. Please don't put this on record, I'm having so much fun as a Wikipedian, and with my articles. Thank you, Belugaboy535136 (talk) 23:37, 28 December 2009 (UTC) P.S. Please stop the pressure! I'll try to stay at the bottom of the WikiProjects.Reply

Ummmmmmm WTF, i have no idea what you are talking about, Please explain???? ZooPro 06:39, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
Okay now i am up to speed. Refer to my response on the Cetacean talk page. ZooPro 06:55, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

AAR page importance

I've reassessed the importance of these pages, and I'd like to have your opinion on the matter:

I think the names should be enough to know what this is about. —innotata (TalkContribs) 23:46, 29 December 2009 (UTC)Reply

I've responded. —innotata (TalkContribs) 16:39, 30 December 2009 (UTC)Reply
