Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Tanya "Sweet Tee" Winley
editDear Zoechristmas: I have been reviewing your article Wikipedia talk:Articles for creation/Tanya "Sweet Tee" Winley. I believe that the sources are adequate, but there is one more problem with the article before it can be published. It contains some sentences that are opinions and speculation, and while these make the article interesting, they are not appropriate for an encyclopedia, which just contains dry facts. There are two things that can be done: (1) I can decline the article, and you can remove some sections, and reword others ( for example, in an encyclopedia you can't say "Freddy the Rapper's work is a lot like Joe HopHip's", but you could say, if you can back it up, "In his book Wonderful Street Music, Johnny Writer writes about the similarity of Freddy the Rapper's work to Joe HopHip's" ) and then you can resubmit, or (2) You can let me remove the offending sections, accept the article, and continue to improve it afterward by finding sources to back up anything you want to put back. Let me know which you would prefer. —Anne Delong (talk) 15:16, 24 July 2013 (UTC)
Dear Anne:
I'm new to Wikipedia, and I'm not sure if this is the proper way to respond to your message. Thank you so much for reading and replying to my article. I understand the problems you pointed out, and I would like to go with the second option – to delete certain sentences, and to go ahead and publish it. I will be tweaking it as I learn more, anyways. Thanks again for your help!
Best, Zoe
