A note about close paraphrasing

edit

Hi, I noticed that some of your editing has what we call "close paraphrasing". You are modifying the wording used by the source, but much of the wording remains unchanged. Excessively close paraphrasing is known as plagiarism and copyright violation, and gets deleted from Wikipedia. A good way to avoid excessively close paraphrasing is to read the source while taking notes. Then you can write from your notes.

All contributions to Wikipedia are checked by automatic plagiarism detection software, so please be careful to put things in your own words in the future. Thanks, Elysia (Wiki Ed) (talk) 19:20, 1 May 2020 (UTC)Reply
