Request reason:

The Zentralbibliothek Zürich (Zurich Central Library) is a non-profit public library. We post articles in wikipedia to inform the public about our media holdings and to engage in discussions about library specific topics, i.e. we have no need to promote products or the like. We have written the German post to our library in the German wikipedia but we wish to update our English page too. Is it possible that we keep our username "Zentralbibliothek Zürich" so that the user sees that the information provided comes from a reliable and first-hand source?

Decline reason:

As per below. You should also note that you, as the library, do not constitute a reliable secondary source. Any information must be sourced to published secondary sources. As much as we appreciate experts - which in a way you are - it does not give your edits more credibility. (talk→ BWilkins ←track) 11:22, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

I am not sure as to de.wp's policies but on en.wp the username policy expressly forbids usernames that give the impression that the account is used by an organization. Likewise, we regularly block users editing on behalf of an organization - charity or otherwise. —Jeremy v^_^v Components:V S M 10:51, 25 July 2011 (UTC)Reply
