Deleted article restoration edit

Hello! I saw your message on Master of Puppets' talk page about restoring a deleted article. Since he is on holiday and won't be back for some time, you may want to ask another administrator to retrieve the article. I can recommend the administrators DGG or Xenocidic, who are very helpful. Thanks! Ecoleetage (talk) 02:30, 25 June 2008 (UTC)Reply

Hey! Sorry about the delay. Check out User:Zblewski/FTF for the page. And the links should be ok as long as they provide extensive coverage. Cheers, Master of Puppets Call me MoP! :) 06:12, 3 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free media (Image:FTF08 logo.jpg) edit

Thanks for uploading Image:FTF08 logo.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:20, 4 July 2008 (UTC)Reply

Norman Nixon Edits to Freedom Ship edit

From Freedom Ship and Talk:Freedom Ship it sounds like Norman Nixon removed material from Wikipedia and replaced it with something he wrote. Can you give me the link to that edit? —Fiziker t c 04:19, 14 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Riding articles edit

In response to your note, I was just loading blank templates into articles at that point as the nominations hadn't been finalized. I agree that all registered candidates should be included. Thanks for adding the others. Ground Zero | t 16:34, 30 September 2008 (UTC)Reply

Sudbury Star edit

Sun Media owns all of the former Osprey publications now, not just the Sudbury Star. Bearcat (talk) 00:28, 6 February 2009 (UTC)Reply

Seriously, calm down — I was just letting you know a detail that I could tell you didn't already know, in a completely normal and straightforward "hey, by the way..." kind of tone. If you perceive it as "rubbing it in" when somebody simply says something on your talk page, there's really not much I can say or do about that except suggesting that maybe you might want to lighten up a bit. Template talk:Anonymous and the Internet edit

You had initially raised the issue of color of this template at Template talk:Anonymous and the Internet. There is an ongoing discussion about changing the color back to the default blue version, at Template_talk:Anonymous_and_the_Internet#Styling.2C_syntax. Cirt (talk) 03:08, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

No worries. Cirt (talk) 16:41, 19 March 2009 (UTC)Reply

In Response to Blanking your User Page edit

Since you were not logged in, I thought that someone was vandalizing your user page. I have removed the warning on your ip account. --Clarince63 (talk) 21:02, 21 January 2010 (UTC)Reply

June 2011 edit

Welcome to Wikipedia. Please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not include unsupported or inaccurate statements. Whenever you add possibly controversial statements about a living person to an article or any other Wikipedia page, as you did to Mikkel Paulson, you must include proper sources. If you don't know how to cite a source, you may want to read Wikipedia:Referencing for beginners for guidelines. Thank you. 117Avenue (talk) 05:44, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply

I was asked personally by Mikkel Paulson to fix the edit I made onto the page. The cited article indeed says he is a web developer, and not a web designer. There is a distinct difference, and in Quebec, there is a position between the two (intégrateur web). Mikkel has also made it public on his twitter and LinkedIn profiles that he has taken a job in Montreal. Therefore, I am reverting the edit, with the addendum of the twitter post as a citation for his residency in Montreal. Thanks for your vigilance. -- Zblewski|talk  16:29, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
Then why didn't he make the change himself? He has an account here. 117Avenue (talk) 19:01, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
He semi-retired himself. He also feels that it would be a conflict of interest to edit his own page, and has in the past asked one of his directors (usually myself or Shawn Gray (NorthernCyclist) to do it for him. I see no problem with it, and I find your approach to this issue a little self-righteous. Assume good faith, a Wikipedian such as yourself should know that. -- Zblewski|talk  19:50, 7 June 2011 (UTC)Reply
