Hi RHaworth,

Thank you for your message.

In my view, DNA amplification technology is not the same thing as DNA replication. Although they are closely related, 'DNA replication' mainly refers to the natural phenomenon and molecular mechanism of DNA self-duplication, mainly in vivo, while 'DNA amplification technology' represents human-invented methods to achive DNA amplification, mainly in vitro. Separate these two articles can make the knowledge more concise and easier to understand.

I was going to creat or link artciles to every in vitro DNA amplification technologies. If you think it is unnecessary, I will simply create a page for polymerase-endonuclease amplification reaction later.

DNA replication

I am extremely dubious about whether we need a separate article about DNA amplification technology. I suggest you work to improve DNA replication. I have moved your edits to User:Xiaolong7292/sandbox.

If you think the polymerase-endonuclease amplification reaction deserves a special article, please create one. — RHaworth (talk · contribs) 11:09, 20 August 2011 (UTC)Reply
