Belated Thank You

edit

Well it looks like Hyenaste has praised you before I could talk to you, But everyone at the RuneScape Series of Articles would like to praise you for your necessary minor edits to the RuneScape Series. Thanks again and we wish you well at Wikipedia. Kind Regards, J.J.Sagnella 16:40, 26 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

  • I hope everyone still thanks me when they see what I have done to the Armour and Mining articles. Of course, I think they're are now fantastic, but I'm insecure so I need affirmation. Xela Yrag 17:41, 26 May 2006 (UTC)Reply

Edit to Mining (RuneScape)

edit

I'm perfectly happy with it, but I'm just wondering why you removed my edit to that article. It didn't look like a repetitive sentence, especially since it wasn't talking about the non-binding custom (first sentence) or the mithril thing (second), but a new point that most players share and it is considered rude to steal (which wasn't stated before).

Anyway, just wondering why. Bronzey 08:23, 7 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Ok, saw the edit, thanks again for reconsidering. Nice job on the rest of the RuneScape articles as well, keep up the good edits. Bronzey 09:53, 8 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

Barrows armour...

edit

No problem. However, with it being too good to be true; It still isn't free. I think it gets less expencive the higher your construction level is, I am not sure if it is ever free though. I am not a huge barrows person though, so don't take my word for granted on this ;P Clq 19:39, 8 June 2006 (UTC)Reply

When you repair barrows armor in your POH.. Well let me put it this way. If you're at level 1 smithing it would be the same price as if you had an npc do it. If you're at level 99 smithing, it would be half price.

bloody should be free to fix armour in your own house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i mean you cant charge your self so who is the money going to i mean you brought the house its yours and you made the reapir bench so who the heck is getting all that money!!!!!!!!! i repeat it is your house your stuff and your bench and still you have to pay !! why!!!!! emo kid898

Hey Xela, Ive been gone for 2 weeks and when I retruned the construction article was gone! They whittled a whole page of info into 2 paragraphs! Why did you remove the WSJ references in RuneScape. I don't know what you meant by subscription-only, but if you followed the link to the main article, it should work fine.--EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 12:48, 9 October 2006 (UTC)Reply

I noticed you recently made a number of very helpful edits to RuneScape, and I was thinking that you might want to join the WikiProject. We could really use the help of people like you in improving the article to GA status. --Pyrospirit Talk Contribs 03:49, 22 December 2006 (UTC)Reply

Puring

edit

What you removed is criticism not an opinion..Wtf?

Well, I can't answer you on your own talk page since you neglected to sign your post (which is very rude IMHO), so I'll just say it here. Criticism is usually an opinion. The criticisms we use, positive or negative, must be documented and cited. Just because you do or do not like something doesn't make it worthy to be stated in an encyclopedic article. Xela Yrag 21:55, 26 January 2007 (UTC)Reply

Thank You

Thanks for your message on my talk page.

I've made some mistakes recently, too many, the last one left me feeling angry at first since I thought I'd done the right thing. In fact I hadn't, I was wrong. For whatever reason, instead of simply apologizing and getting on with things, I started to get paranoid about my work on the WP - that I was simply causing work for others.

Truth is I still have a lot to learn, need more experience with different aspects of the project and need to focus on exactly how I can help with the RS series. This should have been my line of thought, instead of the irrational mental free-wheeling, god only knows what happened there.

Sorry if I've come across as vying for attention or seeking recognition for the limited impact I've had on WP, it wasn't the intention. I seem to have a handle on this now, and intend to get back in the saddle and carry on. The fansite issue in particular is something I'd like to settle for the forseeable future. Thanks. --QuagmireDog 09:25, 4 February 2007 (UTC)Reply

Survey

edit

Hi Xela!

I have put together a survey for female editors of Wikipedia (and related projects) in order to explore, in greater detail, women's experiences and roles within the Wikimedia movement. It'd be wonderful if you could participate!

It's an independent survey, done by me, as a fellow volunteer Wikimedian. It is not being done on behalf of the Wikimedia Foundation. I hope you'll participate!

Just click this link to participate in this survey, via Google!

Any questions or concerns, feel free to email me or stop by my user talk page. Also, feel free to share this any other female Wikimedians you may know. It is in English, but any language Wikimedia participants are encouraged to participate. I appreciate your contributions - to the survey and to Wikipedia! Thank you!
