Re: Numbers edit

No, I'm afraid that I can't say that about 42. Happy editing. Basketball110 01:40, 25 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Cool! I was wondering what you'd think of adoption. Basketball110 00:20, 26 April 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adoption offer edit

If you are still interested, I would be more than happy/willing to adopt you. Please respond on my talk page when and if you decide. Cheers mate! Wisdom89 (T / C) 02:29, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Welcome edit

Welcome to Wikipedia and Wikimedia Commons. The Commons is a site for uploading only copyright free images to be shared among all wikis. Please leave a message on my talk page if you have any questions.

I was going to offer to "adopt" you, but I see that two other people have already offered. I'm still willing, but I don't have a lot of time (I'm a student myself, and I work full time). However, given our mutual editing history on Edward Burger, I do feel a certain inclination to offer any help I can. Willscrlt (Talk) 09:53, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Edward Burger photo edit

That being said... the photo you uploaded (commons:Image:Potatosack.jpg) to illustrate Edward Burger appears to be from a Holt Mathematics tutorial video, not actually made by yourself (i.e., you were not the original director or producer of the video with the right to redistribute it). Therefore, I have nominated it for speedy deletion at Wikimedia Commons. It may have been deleted by the time you read this note. Don't feel too bad about this deletion. My first uploaded picture was likewise deleted. It's part of the learning process. :-)

If by any chance you are a student at Williams College and know Dr. Burger, perhaps you could ask him to pose for a photo and then upload that here. That would be perfectly acceptable and it would really help the article. If you are not a student there, we can write to him following Wikimedia Commons policies and ask him to release a photo of himself here for inclusion. We will get a picture of him some way or another. Again, if you have any questions, leave me a message on my talk page. Willscrlt (Talk) 09:53, 2 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

You're welcome! :-) edit

I was wondering where you were and if you liked or hated the changes. I'm glad that you liked them. Funny thing is that I just made an addition to that article when you sent me the thank you. Too funny. :-) --Willscrlt (Talk) 23:21, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

P.S. I e-mailed Dr. Burger asking him for a photo and to let him know about the page. I haven't received a response. --Willscrlt (Talk) 23:23, 7 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

Adoption edit

I have created a subpage for adoption here: User:Wisdom89/Wyatt915 adoption page where you and I can quietly work together to try and meet your lofty Wikipedia goals : ). You can start by editing each section/heading with information about the various areas of Wikipedia you care to participate/be active in, or, if there are things which are unclear to you, simply drop in a question. That's how we'll get the ball rolling. I suggest starting off by stating your main interests on that page. Cheers! Wisdom89 (T / C) 20:53, 14 May 2008 (UTC)Reply

DFW Meetup, among others edit

Hi! Hello! Howdy! You've been invited to the Dallas/Fort Worth meetup (part of Wikipedia:Meetup). If you are interested, visit our page and sign up and suggest something, or help us decide where and when the next meeting will be. Cheers!

DNA edit

Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) is the name of the molecule. You are now probably wondering why I answered the question. I answered it because you said that if it is answered you get a prize. Do I get a prize?    Juthani1   tcs 02:45, 30 May 2008 (UTC)Reply
