Proposed deletion of Tom Pursglove edit

The article Tom Pursglove has been proposed for deletion because of the following concern:

He is only a local councillor and a candidate for Parliament. Neither of those satisfy WP:POLITICIAN.

While all constructive contributions to Wikipedia are appreciated, content or articles may be deleted for any of several reasons.

You may prevent the proposed deletion by removing the {{proposed deletion/dated}} notice, but please explain why in your edit summary or on the article's talk page.

Please consider improving the article to address the issues raised. Removing {{proposed deletion/dated}} will stop the proposed deletion process, but other deletion processes exist. In particular, the speedy deletion process can result in deletion without discussion, and articles for deletion allows discussion to reach consensus for deletion. Hi, I have put this article up for deletion again. You are welcome to comment but don't removed the deletion template from the page. As stated on the deletion page, he isn't notable enough by Wikipedia standards to have an article. Unless you can find something else about him that is notable the article will be deleted. I know its easy to get attached to articles that one creates but please don't take it personally. If he wins it will be recreated with your edits intact. Basically it will become invisible but made visible if he wins. Then again, if he doesn't win it will remain deleted: a failed candidate is also not notable.
