Speedy deletion nomination of Draft:Outsourced CFO

edit

If this is the first article that you have created, you may want to read the guide to writing your first article.

You may want to consider using the Article Wizard to help you create articles.

A tag has been placed on Draft:Outsourced CFO, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section G11 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the page seems to be unambiguous advertising which only promotes a company, group, product, service, person, or point of view and would need to be fundamentally rewritten in order to become encyclopedic. Please read the guidelines on spam and Wikipedia:FAQ/Organizations for more information.

If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. If the page is deleted, and you wish to retrieve the deleted material for future reference or improvement, then please contact the deleting administrator.   An article you recently created, Outsource CFO, is not suitable as written to remain published. An article needs more information and citations from reliable, independent sources to remain in the mainspace. (?) Information that can't be referenced should be removed (verifiability is of central importance on Wikipedia). I've moved your draft to draftspace (with a prefix of "Draft:" before the article title) where you can incubate the article with minimal disruption. When you feel the article meets Wikipedia's general notability guideline, has suitable content and thus is ready for mainspace, please click on the "Submit your draft for review!" button at the top of the page. Thanks. Silikonz💬 08:02, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Thanks Silikonz.
"This applies to pages that are exclusively promotional and would need to be fundamentally rewritten to serve as encyclopedia articles, rather than advertisements. If a subject is notable and the content could plausibly be replaced with text written from a neutral point of view, this is preferable to deletion. Note: Any article that describes its subject from a neutral point of view does not qualify for this criterion. However, "promotion" does not necessarily mean commercial promotion: anything can be promoted, including a person, a non-commercial organization, a point of view, etc."
I will make the necessary adjustments to provide both sides of view. Wowwephraim (talk) 08:10, 27 January 2023 (UTC)Reply

Request reason:

Not advertising - informative and unbiased

Decline reason:

That's considered promotional on Wikipedia. We don't have "company pages" here, not one. We have articles about companies, typically written by independent editors wholly unconnected with the subject; those articles summarize what independent reliable sources with significant coverage have chosen on their own to say about the company, showing how it meets the special Wikipedia definition of a notable company. Niche industry awards do not usually contribute to notability unless the award itself merits an article(like Academy Award or Nobel Peace Prize). Please read WP:COI and WP:PAID; you won't be unblocked to, in the near term, edit about what I assume is your company. If that is your only goal here, this is the end of the road. If you are interested in being a general contributor and editing about topics for which you have no conflict of interest, please tell what those might be. I am declining your request. 331dot (talk) 09:30, 8 February 2023 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

No topics on Wiki are mentioned about the ability to outsource CFO. Topic was unbiased and did not promote the company. Outsource CFO goal is to be a company page informing individuals about what they do. No promotion language was used to describe their services and no exact details were provided on what they do.

Only a short bried of what they do. When they were founded and Awards.
