Welcome! edit

Hello, Wkraft33, and welcome to Wikipedia! My name is Ian and I work with the Wiki Education Foundation; I help support students who are editing as part of a class assignment.

I hope you enjoy editing here. If you haven't already done so, please check out the student training library, which introduces you to editing and Wikipedia's core principles. You may also want to check out the Teahouse, a community of Wikipedia editors dedicated to helping new users. Below are some resources to help you get started editing.

Image without license edit

Unspecified source/license for File:Epcu 001 lhp.jpg edit

Thanks for uploading File:Epcu 001 lhp.jpg. The image has been identified as not specifying the copyright status of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. Even if you created the image yourself, you still need to release it so Wikipedia can use it. If you don't indicate the copyright status of the image on the image's description page, using an appropriate copyright tag, it may be deleted some time after the next seven days. If you made this image yourself, you can use copyright tags like {{PD-self}} (to release all rights), {{self|CC-by-sa-3.0|GFDL}} (to require that you be credited), or any tag here - just go to the image, click edit, and add one of those. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided copyright information for them as well.

For more information on using images, see the following pages:

This is an automated notice by MifterBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. NOTE: Once you correct this, please remove the tag from the image's page. --MifterBot (TalkContribsOwner) 18:45, 5 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Your thread has been archived edit

Hi Wkraft33! You created a thread called Copyrighted Pictures at Wikipedia:Teahouse, but it has been archived because there was no discussion for a few days. You can still find the archived discussion here. If you have any additional questions that weren't answered then, please create a new thread.

Archival by Lowercase sigmabot III, notification delivery by Muninnbot, both automated accounts. You can opt out of future notifications by placing {{bots|deny=Muninnbot}} (ban this bot) or {{nobots}} (ban all bots) on your user talk page. Muninnbot (talk) 19:03, 9 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

Help me! edit

Please help me with pictures that were removed from my "New Sandbox" page and Wiki. I imagine I missed something regarding how to keep them available as long as I asked the owner to email the permission to Wiki. The email I sent to him for the request was copied directly from the recommended letters to request copywrite permission. What did I forget? Thanks, Wkraft33 (talk) 18:08, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply

You forgot to add an {{OTRS Pending}} template. I could restore it and add one. However if this is to be a free image with permission from the copyright holder, it would be better to add it direct to commons, to save someone having to move it later. You can do that at c:Commons:Upload, and don't forget the OTRS pending. Ronhjones  (Talk) 20:26, 18 October 2018 (UTC)Reply
