HBC AIV helperbot7
Just wanted to let you know that the helperbot has stopped clerking AIV; history shows its last edit about 10 hours ago, and I'm one of several users who have had to remove names that had sat there for a while after being blocked. Nyttend (talk) 12:02, 7 June 2012 (UTC)
- Hi, thanks for letting me know. It seems to be going again now, so I can only assume some kind of connectivity issues with its server caused it. Ideally it would be better if there were more than one helperbot running so that if one is unavailable the others would pick up the slack, but it doesn't look like any of the others have been working properly for months. Hey Wimt, it looks like HBC AIV helperbot7 (talk · contribs) stopped editing over at WP:AIV. Last edit was at 13:16 on June 27th, 2012. Just thought to let you know. -- Luke (Talk) 01:47, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

- Hrm, restarted again (sorry for the delay). It's odd because the bot thinks it's still running. I think it must be a login related issue. I'll keep restarting it for the time being as I haven't got a chance to look into it in more detail at this very moment. Will (aka Wimt) 21:42, 28 June 2012 (UTC)

- No problem. I'm hoping I managed to fix it this morning. It looks like there was a slight change to Mediawiki which had broken the bot's login check (so it did not realise that it had become logged out). Since I attempted the fix the bot seems to have been working properly again, so fingers crossed! Let me know if it stops again though. Thanks. Will (aka Wimt) 16:59, 29 June 2012 (UTC)
