Hello, I'm DuncanHill. I noticed that you recently removed content from Afrikaans without adequately explaining why. In the future, it would be helpful to others if you described your changes to Wikipedia with an accurate edit summary. If this was a mistake, don't worry; the removed content has been restored. If you would like to experiment, please use your sandbox. If you think I made a mistake, or if you have any questions, you can leave me a message on my talk page. Thanks. Hi Duncan, I removed it as it creates a false impression of what Afrikaans is. Afrikaans and Dutch is both my first and second language with English my third, the article created a misleading view of Afrikaans, so by removing the content it became more accurate. I would actually say more than 95% is very similar, do you know any of the two languages - then you will see only a handful of words came across from Koisan, Malay, French and Portuguese, and possibly Xhosa. But, the same happened with English but it's not worthy enough to mention.

Regards Will
