Confused

edit

I've never heard of the verb penser. Are you sure you don't mean pensar?

Uh... yeah... ehe...

edit

Of course I mean pensar. I was just guessing, you know. By the way, I figured out what you meant by the religion stuff. I don't actually check my own userpage that often, you know, and it turns out that a wikipedia bot went by and changed my "Flying Spaghetti Mosterism Believer" userbox into a standard "religious user" box. I'll have to fix that... Oh, and thank you for the charming comment... "It has been said Wikipedia is simply a mirror of my brain". If so, then my brain includes:

That list was made simply by clicking the random article button about twenty times – interesting, eh? Warbonnets, porn stars, Joseph Ratzinger, Australian highways, Godzilla, Christian conservatives, and physics. Imagine being my therapist.... bwa ha ha. (Actually, it's pretty cool that I got physics – probably the most "normal" article I've gotten using the random button).

Re: Everything

Thanks for the edits on my userpage. I've been putting off commenting on your userpage till I could come up with something clever, but I'm not feeling particularly creative today.

On a completely different note, would you be interested in making a Wikipedia bot? I'm not talking about writing the code and such, but simply using another person's scripts and modifying them for our own uses.

Bwa Ha Ha

We can make one which will search all of wikipedia for places where "less" is used instead of "fewer" and bring salvation to all those damned to misgrammatical hell!

On a saner note, yeah, that sounds interesting. Will we actually do anything with it, or will it end up like the Hillview wikipedia article?

I have two ears

edit

Hmmm! It might go somewhere, it might not. It'll be a learning experience, I suppose!

I like your new user page. Always remember, "He who controls the past controls the future." Now to go edit all the pages regarding the new Emperor of the World, Chris Kelvie...

Thanks for uploading Image:Hillview_satellite.jpg. However, the image may soon be deleted unless we can determine the copyright holder and copyright status. The Wikimedia Foundation is very careful about the images included in Wikipedia because of copyright law (see Wikipedia's Copyright policy).

The copyright holder is usually the creator, the creator's employer, or the last person who was transferred ownership rights. Copyright information on images is signified using copyright templates. The three basic license types on Wikipedia are open content, public domain, and fair use. Find the appropriate template in Wikipedia:Image copyright tags and place it on the image page like this: {{TemplateName}}.

Please signify the copyright information on any other images you have uploaded or will upload. Remember that images without this important information can be deleted by an administrator.

This is an automated notice by OrphanBot. If you have questions about copyright tagging of images, post on Wikipedia talk:Image copyright tags or User talk:Carnildo/images. 13:03, 12 March 2006 (UTC)

Rotating IP addresses are a pain, as it is hard to block them (blocking an individual IP doesn't work as it will change, blocking an IP range is only done with great caution because due to the risk of collateral damage). You could put up a request on WP:RFPP for article semi-protection, which will stop IP's editing that article. However as the editing seems to be quite slow, it might be better just to watch the article and revert when needed. To help people watching the article could you please add the sources you quote on the talk page to the main article? (see WP:CITE). Any questions feel free to get back to me on my talk page. Julieta Venegas

edit

Thanks for contacting me about the Julieta Venegas article. There was no haste, it appeared to be an unofficial link which was why it was removed (and the other edits were not). If it is agreed that this link, even though unofficial, is reliable and helpful to the article, then there is no reason not to have it, but that is more often not the case. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Julieta Venegas Si.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading Image:Julieta Venegas Si.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 06:45, 1 January 2008 (UTC)Reply
