Changing Purana to Purna edit

Hello and welcome to Wikipedia. Please leave an edit summary when you make a change to the articles. You might also want to check out the Wikipedia tutorial.

Your changing of spelling from Purana to Purna (example) is not justified. The Sanskrit word is "पुराण", not "पूर्ण".

Also, please don't change Sanskrit terms like "Mahabharata" and "Kaliyuga" to Hindi terms like "Mahabharat" and "Kalyug" etc. The schwa sound is deleted in Hindi and some other modern vernaculars, not in Sanskrit. The vast majority of scholarly sources use the Sanskrit versions, and so does Wikipedia. utcursch | talk 17:07, 13 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Addition of "a" to ALL sanskrit translation to English is wrong. Kal yoog is NOT KAL YOOG"A". Hindi and Sanskrit is closer than Sanskrit and English.

All said this is Wiki, mess of all messes of misinformation based on what the "editors" and wiki "police" deem correct vs experts and common knowledge.

The need for sources is also a joke, it cost nothing to publish bullshit ;) or source a foreign language that the wiki police can't even read or understand!

September 2017 edit

This is your only warning; if you make personal attacks on others again, as you did at User talk:Oshwah, you may be blocked from editing without further notice. Comment on content, not on other contributors or people. Chris Troutman (talk) 15:37, 16 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

Because you make a legal threat edit

There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. You cannot threaten to sue editors. Chris Troutman (talk) 15:47, 16 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

You are not allowed to edit Wikipedia while the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved.
If you think there are good reasons for being unblocked, please read the guide to appealing blocks, then add the following text below the block notice on your talk page: {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}.  GABgab 15:54, 16 September 2017 (UTC)Reply

A comment edit

Hi. I hope you don't mind a comment or two by me, but I think you are misunderstanding a couple of key points...

  1. You say "This is just a website open for ALL to edit as they see fit" (my emhpasis). The bolded part is absolutely incorrect, and you can not edit "as you see fit". All of your edits on the English Wikipedia must comply with the Wikimedia Foundation's terms of use, with established English Wikipedia policies, and with community consensus.
  2. You say "Wiki can be sued for silencing free speech in many jurisdictions...". Wikipedia is a privately owned web site and offers no free speech rights whatsoever.
