A belated welcome!

The welcome may be belated, but the cookies are still warm!

Here's wishing you a belated welcome to Wikipedia, WikiWarrior9919. I see that you've already been around a while and wanted to thank you for your contributions. Though you seem to have been successful in finding your way around, you may benefit from following some of the links below, which help editors get the most out of Wikipedia:

Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post.

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page, consult Wikipedia:Questions, or place {{help me}} on your talk page and ask your question there.

Again, welcome! —usernamekiran(talk) 16:28, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

your signature

Hi. Thank you for your contributions to wikipedia. I saw your signature doesnt include your username. If you do not want to add a wikilink to userpage in the signature, then kindly at least include your username. Seeing only "(talk)" after a comment is very confusing, especially for mobile users. Kindly see Wikipedia:Signatures for more information. Regards, —usernamekiran(talk) 16:27, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

@Usernamekiran: Oh, haha. I do have a username, but I use a different font to make it look cooler, sorry if you can't see it. It should say "WikiWarrior9919" in bubble letters. But I don't want to sacrifice readability in my signature for "coolness". Time to fix it, I suppose. 𝕎𝕚𝕜𝕚𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕚𝕠𝕣𝟡𝟡𝟙𝟡 (talk) 16:35, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
erm... No. Even in the source code, I dont/cant see any special code. All I can see is [[User:WikiWarrior9919|]]. Which should give out: WikiWarrior9919
But when I tried to edit it, there was some invisible code present. Can you copy-paste the signature's code here from your preferences? —usernamekiran(talk) 16:53, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
@Usernamekiran: Here it is:

𝕎𝕚𝕜𝕚𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕚𝕠𝕣𝟡𝟡𝟙𝟡

(source code is off). 𝕎𝕚𝕜𝕚𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕚𝕠𝕣𝟡𝟡𝟙𝟡 (talk) 16:54, 22 October 2019 (UTC)

erm... All i can see is whitespace. Pinging Primefac and Xaosflux. Or maybe my browser has gone out of date. —usernamekiran(talk) 16:59, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
yup, I can see the signature from a different browser. And I can also see that you have pasted the output directly in the place where code should go. Still, editing the code for visibility purposes is required per the guideline. —usernamekiran(talk) 17:05, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
There have been some issues recently with that particular font - it seems that many mobile devices and a few browsers are not able to render the font properly. You're not really breaking any of the guidelines (and they're just guidelines) but I would suggest changing the font just as a courtesy. Primefac (talk) 23:12, 22 October 2019 (UTC)
@Primefac: Okay, will change it. 𝕎𝕚𝕜𝕚𝕎𝕒𝕣𝕣𝕚𝕠𝕣𝟡𝟡𝟙𝟡 (talk) 11:23, 24 October 2019 (UTC)
Thanks! Primefac (talk) 13:56, 24 October 2019 (UTC)

Template:Historical affiliations

Hi, I noticed your request for Template:Historical affiliations at Wikipedia:Requested articles/Wikipedia and decided to create a template at {{User:BrandonXLF/A}}. Please let me know what you think of it and if you have any suggestions. It seems like around 290 pages would need this template (according to this search). BrandonXLF (t@lk) 01:47, 7 November 2019 (UTC)

@BrandonXLF: Sorry for the kind of late reply, but that's a great template! Would you like to move it to its current title? ωικιωαrrιorᑫᑫ1ᑫ 12:29, 13 November 2019 (UTC)
I'm not really allowed to create templates, but I give you permission to use my code as you please. BrandonXLF (t@lk) 13:17, 13 November 2019 (UTC)

Indian merge tags

I fixed the pointers for Lakh, but you might want to fix the discussion section for Crore, or combine the sections using {{vanchor}}. — Arthur Rubin (talk) 20:58, 14 November 2019 (UTC)

ArbCom 2019 election voter message

 Hello! Voting in the 2019 Arbitration Committee elections is now open until 23:59 on Monday, 2 December 2019. All eligible users are allowed to vote. Users with alternate accounts may only vote once.

The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to impose binding solutions to disputes between editors, primarily for serious conduct disputes the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the authority to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail.

If you wish to participate in the 2019 election, please review the candidates and submit your choices on the voting page. If you no longer wish to receive these messages, you may add {{NoACEMM}} to your user talk page. MediaWiki message delivery (talk) 00:25, 19 November 2019 (UTC)

arb committee

Hey, WikiWarrior! Just as an fyi, the arbitration committee doesn't require members to be administrators. Any editor in good standing is welcome to run, and in fact having non-admins on the committee is considered a good thing because it improves the diversity of the committee. Also, xeno is a bureaucrat, which is a position of such extreme community trust that we have only sixteen of them for English wikipedia, where we have over a thousand admins. Bureaucrats have the power to add and remove admin rights. There's an explanation at Wikipedia:User access levels. --valereee (talk) 11:28, 21 November 2019 (UTC)

Cool! ωικιωαrrιorᑫᑫ1ᑫ 18:27, 21 November 2019 (UTC)
