Request reason:

Help, I got blocked

Decline reason:

I am declining your unblock request because it does not address the reason for your block, or because it is inadequate for other reasons. To be unblocked, you must convince the reviewing administrator(s) that

  • the block is not necessary to prevent damage or disruption to Wikipedia, or
  • the block is no longer necessary because you
    1. understand what you have been blocked for,
    2. will not continue to cause damage or disruption, and
    3. will make useful contributions instead.

Please read the guide to appealing blocks for more information. - Barek (talkcontribs) - 01:04, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

If you want to make any further unblock requests, please read the guide to appealing blocks first, then use the {{unblock}} template again. If you make too many unconvincing or disruptive unblock requests, you may be prevented from editing this page until your block has expired. Do not remove this unblock review while you are blocked.

Request reason:

I am a graduate student doing research at WICAT, a multi-school/industry wireless research center. The Wireless Internet Center for Advanced Technology (WICAT) ranks #1 among technology research centers in funding and #2 in the number of industry participants according to the United States National Science Foundation. I saw that it's article got nominated for deletion because of a lack of sourced content. I added a huge amount of sourced materials to bring it to standard article status(http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wireless_Internet_Center_for_Advanced_Technology_%28WICAT%29&diff=531008679&oldid=530859233), all of which got reverted(possibly vandalism) while I got blocked by an administrator, maybe because I am on a shared computer. I haven't been disruptive at all.--Wicaretaker (talk) 7:21 pm, Today (UTC−6)

Request reason:

This is the only account I ever created. Can some higher level administrators check the case? The massive amount of vandalism in question is also still not reverted back

Decline reason:

Checkuser and behavioural evidence confirm sockpuppetry. Talkpage access revoked for this account. Yunshui  08:43, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

  • You are clearly a senior editor when considering your contributions. I have no intention of spamming. I am trying to save an article on a multi-school/industry wireless research center where I do research. It ranks #1 among technology research centers in funding and #2 in the number of industry participants according to the United States National Science Foundation. Other similar centers which rank lower, have their own articles.--Wicaretaker (talk) 05:35, 3 January 2013 (UTC)Reply

This is what I did to make it keepable: http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wireless_Internet_Center_for_Advanced_Technology_(WICAT)&oldid=531008679
