Some cookies to welcome you!

Welcome to Wikipedia, WiFiLeech! I am Claritas and have been editing Wikipedia for quite some time. I just wanted to say hi and welcome you to Wikipedia! If you have any questions, feel free to leave me a message on my talk page or by typing {{helpme}} at the bottom of this page. I love to help new users, so don't be afraid to leave a message! I hope you like the place and decide to stay. Here are some pages that you might find helpful:

I hope you enjoy editing here and being a Wikipedian! Also, when you post on talk pages you should sign your name on talk pages using four tildes (~~~~); that should automatically produce your username and the date after your post. If you need help, check out Wikipedia:Questions, ask me on my talk page, or place {{helpme}} on your talk page and ask your question there. Again, welcome!

About userboxes.

edit

I could very well make my own - but I'd rather not due to pretentious laziness.

I changed the image because not everyone that does support the liberation of information actually uses uTorrent or torrents at all. The use of the PD symbol is much more representative. --Newtown11 (talk) 01:12, 23 May 2010 (UTC)Reply

Your lame pw userbox.

edit

I noticed you changed the image; while the black one looks better, I think the open lock illustrates a lame password better. ×××BrightBlackHeaven(talk)××× 14:59, 11 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

My password is actually only half-way lame but the userbox is really cool, plus no one can find out anyway. :D Er, until now. ×××BrightBlackHeaven(talk)××× 15:09, 11 June 2010 (UTC)Reply

File source problem with File:Yahoo Y.svg

edit

Thank you for uploading File:Yahoo Y.svg. I noticed that the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you did not create this file yourself, you will need to specify the owner of the copyright. If you obtained it from a website, please add a link to the website from which it was taken, together with a brief restatement of that website's terms of use of its content. However, if the copyright holder is a party unaffiliated from the website's publisher, that copyright should also be acknowledged.

If you have uploaded other files, consider verifying that you have specified sources for those files as well. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been tagged per Wikipedia's criteria for speedy deletion, F4. If the image is copyrighted and non-free, the image will be deleted 48 hours after 12:21, 23 November 2010 (UTC) per speedy deletion criterion F7. If you have any questions or are in need of assistance please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 12:21, 23 November 2010 (UTC)Reply

Orphaned non-free image File:OperaUnite.svg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:OperaUnite.svg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described in the criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Skier Dude (talk) 03:59, 10 September 2012 (UTC)Reply

File:Skype screenshot.png listed for deletion

edit

A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Skype screenshot.png, has been listed at Wikipedia:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. A barnstar for you!

  The Original Barnstar
Brilliant Userboxes! I happen to have similar software tastes; but more importantly the collection is well-designed, varied, useful & particularly consistent with the open ethos of Wikimedia/Wikipedia. It's relieving to know that once there's time to play w/UBXs, I've got a place to start (& the "safety net" of a helpful Wikipedian UBX creator ^_^) Borkzorkorc (talk) 20:32, 12 April 2013 (UTC)Reply

I award you a userbox.
