Welcome to Wikipedia. Although everyone is welcome to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia, your addition of one or more external links to the page Wendy Starland has been reverted. Your edit here was reverted by an automated bot that attempts to remove unwanted links and spam from Wikipedia. The external link you added or changed is on my list of links to remove and probably shouldn't be included in Wikipedia. The external links I reverted were matching the following regex rule(s): rule: '\bmyspace\.com' (link(s): http://www.myspace.com/sonicatv) . If the external link you inserted or changed was to a blog, forum, free web hosting service, or similar site, then please check the information on the external site thoroughly. Note that such sites should probably not be linked to if they contain information that is in violation of the creator's copyright (see Linking to copyrighted works), or they are not written by a recognised, reliable source. Linking to sites that you are involved with is also strongly discouraged (see conflict of interest).

If you were trying to insert an external link that does comply with our policies and guidelines, then please accept my creator's apologies and feel free to undo the bot's revert. Please read Wikipedia's external links guideline for more information, and consult my list of frequently-reverted sites. For more information about me, see my FAQ page. Thanks! File Copyright problem

Thank you for uploading File:Wendy Starland.jpg. However, it currently is missing information on its copyright status. Wikipedia takes copyright very seriously. It may be deleted soon, unless we can determine the license and the source of the file. If you know this information, then you can add a copyright tag to the image description page.

If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their license and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thanks again for your cooperation. [midnight comet] [talk] 19:56, 7 August 2009 (UTC)Reply

Hi, User:Wendystarland. From you user name I gather you represent/are the subject of/are related to the Wendy Starland topic. You're ought to read our guideline on editing an article about you before you continue – it makes it clear what issues may revolve around editing about yourself.

I thought I should let you know that a few of your edits to that article have been removed, as they appeared to remove templates (specifically, citation templates such as {{full}} and {{fact}}). These should not be removed without either resolving the issue to which they refer, or without gaining consensus to remove them by discussing on the article's talk page.

I hope you understand, and I'd be happy to help if you have any questions – you're welcome to leave a reply below and I can get back to you. Regards, matt (talk) 08:10, 13 December 2010 (UTC)Reply

Replaceable fair use File:Side view wide3 2.jpg

edit

Thanks for uploading File:Side view wide3 2.jpg. I noticed the description page specifies that the media is being used under a claim of fair use, but its use in Wikipedia articles fails our first non-free content criterion in that it illustrates a subject for which a freely licensed media could reasonably be found or created that provides substantially the same information or which could be adequately covered with text alone. If you believe this media is not replaceable, please:

  1. Go to the media description page and edit it to add {{di-replaceable fair use disputed}}, without deleting the original replaceable fair use template.
  2. On the image discussion page, write the reason why this image is not replaceable at all.

Alternatively, you can also choose to replace this non-free media by finding freely licensed media of the same subject, requesting that the copyright holder release this (or similar) media under a free license, or by taking a picture of it yourself.

If you have uploaded other non-free media, consider checking that you have specified how these images fully satisfy our non-free content criteria. You can find a list of description pages you have edited by clicking on this link. Note that even if you follow steps 1 and 2 above, non-free media which could be replaced by freely licensed alternatives will be deleted 2 days after this notification (7 days if uploaded before 13 July 2006), per our non-free content policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Sfan00 IMG (talk) 17:39, 12 January 2011 (UTC)Reply

Anybody can create an account with the name "Wendystarland". To prove you are the owner of the copyright, you will need to follow the instructions given above and email the consent or update the website itself to provide the consent per the instructions at Wikipedia:Requesting_copyright_permission. Thank you, yes I have already written an email to permissions at wikimedia. Wikipedia's guidelines said that explaining intent to license the content on the article's discussion page was a good additional step to take. Wendystarland (talk) 10:54, 2 August 2023 (UTC)Reply
