I hope you're not too offended that I nominated for deletion an article which you had created. My intention is certainly never to offend another editor much less a fellow member of WPND. I've had a tag on the article for quite some time requesting other editors to show why they thought Hannan was notable enough that she deserved her own article. I didn't feel that notability had been shown and the tag remained in place for a long time so...I finally nominated it for deletion. It's not that I'm against having info about Hannan on Wikipedia...far from it, actually. I just left a comment on the AfD page saying that I think a great decision would be to merge the info from Monica Hannan into the NBC North Dakota article and adding info about other anchors too. I would actually be happy to see anchor sections added to other ND tv station articles too. If we did that, we could turn the names of the anchors (like Monica Hannan) into redirects to the relevant station page. Let me know what you think. --MatthewUND^(talk) 04:48, 7 April 2007 (UTC)

Thank you for your comments. It is great to here that i am not the only Republican left! I am a proud Republican. On your comment about me being pro-life, and Guliani being pro-choice. I do however like McCain, and Huckabee. And i am begining to turn against Guliani, it is just that he appeals to moderates, and he wouldbe able to win! However, i know you like Mike Huckabee and no offense, but i would like to see him run for the U.S. Senate in 2008 against Mark Pryor. I hope you get this comment, and respond on my talk page! Error in The 'Lufkin Daily News' page.

You stated on April 8, 2006 on the The Lufkin Daily News page:

The Lufkin Daily News is a newspaper that serves the city of Lufkin, Texas. The newspaper was awarded a Pulitzer Prize in 1971 for Public Service for an obituary of a local man who died in Marine training camp, which grew into an investigation of that death and a fundamental reform in the recruiting and training practices of the United States Marine Corps.

On the 1971 Pulitzer Prize page it says it went to:

• Public Service:
  • Winston-Salem Journal and Sentinel for investigation of environmental problems, particularly blocking strip mine operations in northwest North Carolina.

This is also confirmed at Pulitzer Prizes for 1971.

It appears your obituary sentence is in error. I believe you would be the best one to correct this.

I am doing this because I worry about the fate of Wikipedia. I would also like to explain my reasons for my opposition of the president. The first reason is that he is not my president, and many, many people in my country consider him to be a failure. North Dakota State Auditor

The auditor's website refers to the office as "North Dakota State Auditor" and other similar auditor articles on Wikipedia also seem to include the word "State". Because of this, I moved the article to North Dakota State Auditor. Hmmm, the PSC thing is a little hard to work with. Perhaps it would be best to remove the "Public Service Commissioner" entry from the template and just link to articles for all three commissioners directly from the North Dakota Public Service Commission article. The only thing about that which doesn't make much sense is the fact that the PSC spots are elected offices and right now all of our elected officials are listed in the "Executive branch" section of the template. --MatthewUND^(talk) 05:41, 19 May 2007 (UTC)

Senior Senator

Hey. I see you live in North Dakota. Please, could you answer my question. I would like to point out that in 1992, Kent Conrad retired, and Byron Dorgan won. Dorgan is still in the Senate. And then Conrad ran and won a few years later. Wouldn't this make Dorgan senior senator from North Dakota??
