Inappropriate talk page postings edit

Good afternoon,

Would you be so kind as to explain this [1]. Given this and your recent page that was deleted you were lucky to not get a harrassment block off either of them or the total of them combined. Amortias (T)(C) 16:36, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

User:Viiticus is my friend. Hes seen the image and doesn’t seem to mind it. WeaponizingArchitecture (talk) 17:08, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
You might want to be a tad more careful in that case, a talkpage heading that looks inappropriate followed up by an image that is titled "die a violent death" is likely to set off all sorts of alarm bells. Amortias (T)(C) 17:48, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply
got it. WeaponizingArchitecture (talk) 18:32, 3 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

Nomination for deletion of Template:FloatingImage edit

Template:FloatingImage has been nominated for deletion. You are invited to comment on the discussion at the entry on the Templates for discussion page. Aasim (talk) 15:22, 6 January 2022 (UTC)Reply

On that note - can you please take a look at Wikipedia:User pages to see what is okay for you to have on your userpage? That image blocks important links (namely the Wikipedia logo), makes sidebar text unreadable, and creates all sorts of problems for certain antivandalism tools. We are an encyclopedia project, not a personal sandbox. Aasim - Herrscher of Wikis 02:21, 11 March 2022 (UTC)Reply

Fenton, Michigan edit

To address your points:

  1. The logo I placed on the article *is* on the website, they recently updated the website - https://www.cityoffenton.org
  2. Even if it wasn't at the time, it still doesn't automatically make "Fenton Be Closer" the official logo of the city.

If we can restore the actual logo amicably, that would be appreciated.

Vypr (talk) 19:08, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply

Sounds good for now, but I want to know if that IS the logo, or if it's the city seal. Tourism logos are sometimes used for that space (Example: Cleveland, Ohio, but Mostly if the city itself does not have a logo.) Please let me know if you found anything new. Thanks!
WeaponizingArchitecture | talk to me 21:42, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
It seems to be used as a logo, it's on the website and official government-related vehicles (like snow plow trucks, as an example). It doesn't really fit the idea of a "seal", you couldn't imprint it with colors of course. Vypr (talk) 23:08, 27 May 2022 (UTC)Reply
I see. I might do some digging myself to provide more information.

Davenport, Iowa edit

I don't want to get into an edit war over the photos you added at Davenport, Iowa. My concern now is this photo, which is low-quality because of the huge smudge in the clouds, and another in the water (you need your sensor cleaned). With your permission, let me upload a cleaned version. You can revert if you don't like it. Thanks. Magnolia677 (talk) 15:46, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply

Where's the cleaner version? WeaponizingArchitecture | scream at me 19:08, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
It's on my hard drive (I erased the spots), but I cannot overwrite your photo without permission. Magnolia677 (talk) 20:23, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
Id like to see it first before i give permission. WeaponizingArchitecture | scream at me 20:30, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
I made changes to the contrast as well. I'll just upload as a new file, with attribution. Magnolia677 (talk) 21:24, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
What's the filename? again, id like to see. WeaponizingArchitecture | scream at me 22:00, 2 October 2022 (UTC)Reply
